openWB software2 mit openWB series1/2 custom, standard, standard+, Buchse und Duo nutzen

openWB software2 kann nun auch direkt auf der openWB series1/2 custom, standard, standard+, Buchse und Duo genutzt werden. Wie in 1.9 muss eingestellt werden, ob die openWB ein externer Ladepunkt ist oder die Steuerung für sich und ggf weitere Ladepunkte übernehmen soll. Informationen, wie der interne Ladepunkt eingerichtet wird, findet Ihr im Tutorial.

Welche Hardware wird unterstützt?
Als interner Ladepunkt können openWB series1/2 Custom, Standard, Standard+, Buchse und Duo eingerichtet werden.
Die Steuerung eines externen Ladepunkts mit openWB software2 durch eine openWB mit Software 1.9 ist nicht möglich.

Kann in 0,01A Schritten geregelt werden?
Die EVSE (Ladecontroller) unterstützt die feine Regelung ab Firmware-Version 18. Nachdem die openWB als interner Ladepunkt eingerichtet wurde, wird nach dem Start unter Fehlersuche -> Log des internen Ladepunkts die Firmware-Version ausgegeben.
Bei älteren Firmware-Versionen der EVSE kann nur mit 1.0A-Schritten geregelt werden. Informationen zu einem Update der EVSE folgen in Kürze.

Um unter 1.9 die Firmware-Version der EVSE zu ermitteln, das Debug-Level auf 2 und die Ladepunkt-Anbindung auf Deamon stellen (vorher Backup erstellen) und neustarten. Danach unter http://<ip>/openWB/ramdisk/isss.log ziemlich am Anfang nachsehen.

Wie kann ich openWB software2 auf meiner openWB mit internem Ladepunkt betreiben?
Das Image auf eine SEPARATE SD-Karte flashen oder mit dem Installationsskript auf einem aktuellen Raspebbry Pi OS "Bullseye" (Light) auf eine SEPARATE SD-Karte installieren. Danach ein Update auf den aktuellen Master machen.
WICHTIG: NICHT die Karte, die in der openWB ist, flashen.

Die openWB stromlos machen und öffnen (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkcpigqmN4Q).
SD-Karte tauschen.
openWB wieder einschalten und schließen.

Was passiert, wenn der Umstieg schief läuft?
Bitte ein Beitrag im Feedback-Thread erstellen. Dazu bitte das Debuglevel auf Details stellen und einen kompletten Durchlauf von # ***Start*** bis # ***Start*** aus dem main.log und dem Log des internen Ladepunkts posten. Sensible Daten wie Benutzernamen und Kennwörter unkenntlich machen.

Um die openWB wieder betriebsbereit zu machen, wie oben beschrieben die SD-Karte tauschen und die alte SD-Karte wieder einlegen. Nachdem die openWB einmal mit openWB software2 betrieben wurde und die EVSE die feine Regelung unterstützt, muss in 1.9 mindestens die Stable 1.9.301 verwendet werden.

Bitte beachten: Während der Nutzung von openWB software2 werden keine Daten für das Langzeitlogging in 1.9 aufgezeichnet.

Cool, bin sehr gespannt und freue mich, dass es bald losgehen kann. Danke für die ganze Arbeit und ich glaub auch den Stress in den letzten Monaten, um das Produkt so schnell wie möglich zu finalisieren.

Kann man dann die SD-Karte aus dem bisherigen extra Raspberry einfach in den der openWB wechseln oder macht das Probleme? Wenn nein, dann kann ich meine Einstellungen doch über Sichern und Wiederherstellen kopieren, richtig?

Oh grossartig! Ich glaub ich weiß wer sich gleich noch eine neue SD Karte bestellen wird :D

so, ich hab' noch eine brauchbare SD Karte gefunden.

Image installiert, Wechsel auf master branch, Update, gewartet bis die Installation der Pakete abgeschlossen war (die UI war vorher schon aktiv, was mich gewundert hat).
Wechsel auf NurLadepunkt Modus, Konfiguration des internen LP geprüft. Box noch mal neu gestartet. Es gibt ein paar Fehler im ISSS Log, bin mir noch nicht so sicher woher diese kommen. Wobei die sich inzwischen erledigt haben, waren wohl die 5min Wartezeit noch nicht rum, falls es die bei der 2.0er auch noch gibt?

Es scheint ein wenig die Sonne, der Ladevorgang läuft auf dem 2.0er Ladepunkt, gesteuert weiterhin über die externe 2.0er.🎉

Leider scheint mein Model Y die 0,1A Ladeströme nicht zu berücksichtigen sondern springt weiterhin in 1A Schritten. Aber so ist das halt, vielleicht tut sich da ja mit einem zukünftigen Update seitens Tesla etwas.

Hab es jetzt einfach stumpf probiert.
SD-Karte aus dem extra Raspberry raus, in die openWB rein, starten und staunen. Fährt ohne Probleme hoch. Die Linux-Bootmeldungen sind allerdings um 180° gedreht.
Update: das gedrehte interne Display lässt sich fixen mit

/boot/config.txt öffnen
lcd_rotate=2 auskommentieren
Dann den alten externen Ladepunkt gelöscht und den jetzt internen neu angelegt. Funktioniert, wird erkannt.
Allerdings habe ich aus irgendeinem Grund unter Konfiguration/Ladepunkte noch immer den alten externen Ladepunkt drin. Also nochmal versucht ihn zu löschen und es erscheint:

Image installiert, Wechsel auf master branch, Update, gewartet bis die Installation der Pakete abgeschlossen war (die UI war vorher schon aktiv, was mich gewundert hat).
Wechsel auf NurLadepunkt Modus, Konfiguration des internen LP geprüft. Box noch mal neu gestartet. Es gibt ein paar Fehler im ISSS Log, bin mir noch nicht so sicher woher diese kommen. Wobei die sich inzwischen erledigt haben, waren wohl die 5min Wartezeit noch nicht rum, falls es die bei der 2.0er auch noch gibt?

Kommt die Fehlermeldung nach jedem Start?
Die Änderung des Betriebsmodus wird sofort angewendet. Da bei Dir die Initialisierung schief gegangen ist, wurde nach 5 Minuten die Initialisierung erneut gestartet.

SD-Karte aus dem extra Raspberry raus, in die openWB rein, starten und staunen. Fährt ohne Probleme hoch. Die Linux-Bootmeldungen sind allerdings um 180° gedreht.

Dann den alten externen Ladepunkt gelöscht und den jetzt internen neu angelegt. Funktioniert, wird erkannt.
Allerdings habe ich aus irgendeinem Grund unter Konfiguration/Ladepunkte noch immer den alten externen Ladepunkt drin. Also nochmal versucht ihn zu löschen und es erscheint:

Ist irgendwie also nur halb gelöscht worden.
Kann ich den manuell irgendwie rauslöschen oder muss ich ganz neu aufsetzen?
Am sichersten ist es eine Sicherung wiederherzustellen und dann nochmal den Ladepunkt löschen.
Da der Ladepunkt offenbar nicht mehr in der Hierarchie ist, kannst Du sonst versuchen alle Topics unter openWB/chargepoint/5 zu löschen. Vorher unbedingt eine Sicherung erstellen.

Ist Dir das Problem schon öfter begegnet, dass das Löschen nicht geklappt hat?
