Warum?

100x76x65mm.

Google Translate hilft.

Szilárd.

Hey,
shall we go on with English?

The parts look quite small so maybe I can give them a try at new UxI_tube. Thanks for your help!
At the moment I develop some new hardware for "EVSE-WIFI"-software which will be fixed on DIN Rail. After that I 'll go on with the mobile tubes.

Thank you.

I saw that you mentioned DN110 with room for a DIN rail, which makes life easier. Nice. I have fewer and fewer excuses to sit down and make one.

I wonder why the more advanced chargers have only Wi-Fi, not mobile connectivity. If I leave the car somewhere while charging, I'm not always in range of its Wi-Fi and I can't always connect it to the Internet, through the local AP. There are ESP32 boards with GPRS support (78.83x28.92x8.06mm, includes the ESP32), for about 15$, although it would be more interesting to have a 4G chip or one of the new 4G NB-IoT modules (20$, 17.6x15.7x2.3mm), but it probably needs to be supported by the mobile operator.

Someone in the mountains, without mobile signal, charging at a cabin, could use a version with LoRa (6$, 17.2x17mm), especially with a Things Network gateway on the building. Still, I believe there are really few people with this need - but the other chargers do not offer this functionality, so these few people would really like it.

Please don't take this as a request to have these in the project tomorrow, heh. The charger is great as it is now and it is great that you offer all the information for free. The commercial chargers have outrageous prices, as do the cables and the connectors, even the Chinese ones.
I just discovered these boards and I'm excited about them, as I am excited about the UxL toGo. I was just thinking out loud.

Oh, and maybe you'd be interested in cheap PCB manufacturing, if you're making a custom board with ESP32. PCBWay can make a 10x10cm single-layer+silkscreen board for around 1$. It's just that the cheap shipping takes a month from China. I discovered them two months ago, but they are probably not the only PCB makers there.

It is sad that these are all Chinese, but when I look at the 22kW EVSEs and the cheapest one is 400+ € without any wireless, what can you do? And that one is even from the Czech Republic, supposedly less expensive, the go-e is almost double that (but has a B-cat RCB, or so they say).

Hey,
the new controllerboard "UxI_base" will have plugable ESP32 (TTGO-format), so the big ESP32 and also the smaller Wemos D1 (ESP8266) could be used ;).

During mobile usage (holiday trip...) I think the local WLAN-conn. with phone/tablet and EVSE (= local AP) would be sufficient. So you start charging and leave the Wifi-range.
You are right, that you can't recognize failures during this charging mode (like interrupts), but I guess that "mobile charging" on CEE-power is more a backup charging solution. Most of the time people will use official charging points or fixed wallbox at home (at least in Germany).

That's why I forced the new controller for DIN Rail first. Hope the new PCB will fit on 1 TE (17,5mm witdh).
It will be combined with a new EVSE (2TE). This one will have also RCD-connector. Last not least a small 1,5"-oLED in top is in production which will cover the 3xTE-set. More infos soon.

Thanks for PCBWay info!
